Findings contributing towards the 快猫视频's response to the Nursing & Midwifery Council's consultation on a new system of revalidation for nurses in the United Kingdom. Contained in this document are the holistic findings of our international comparative work on revalidation systems – comprising a selection of seven country and regional case studies.

The 快猫视频 recognises the challenges involved in designing a revalidation system which will be both effective and proportionate, given the size of the NMC register (approximately 670,000 registrants as of 2013). The evidence provided by the international examples looked at in this paper suggests that the following lessons may be considered in the design of a future UK model.
